Family-centered design

A connected world without an open social free-for-all.

Racerverse is designed so a child can enjoy character connection, discovery, and a changing world without public chat, public player browsing, or stranger matchmaking being the price of participation.

A different social model

A different social model

Connection happens through characters and authored events.

Racers can meet, remember, and affect shared places asynchronously. The owner does not need to be present with strangers for the world to feel inhabited, and solo play remains a complete experience.

SOLO

Solo is complete

Driving, opening, inspecting, collecting, stories, and Living World returns do not require public multiplayer participation.

CALM

Lower-contact by design

The core Living World has no public free-text chat, voice chat, public player directory, or stranger matching.

CTRL

Controls belong to families

Family-managed profiles can set comfort boundaries, control private-crew access, pause activity, and clear Living World history.

CREW

Private play stays separate

Optional Drive Together uses invite-only crews and bounded communication rather than opening the world to unknown players.

How it works

What a calmer connected world looks like.

  1. 01

    Play alone

A child can open, inspect, and drive a racer without joining a public lobby or maintaining a social presence.

  2. 02

    Let the racer wander

Authored asynchronous events let the racer meet others and encounter places while the owner is away.

  3. 03

    Return to a short story

Catch-up reports explain what changed without punishing the owner for taking time away.

  4. 04

    Choose the boundaries

Owners can tune social encounters and family-managed profiles can restrict optional private crews.

  5. 05

    Invite deliberately

When families choose live cooperative driving, access uses a private code rather than public matchmaking.

Built, not imagined

Specific boundaries, not vague promises

No public stranger layer

The core experience does not depend on public chat, public player browsing, or random social matching.

Owner-visible controls

Activity, social preferences, private-crew permissions, and history controls are understandable product settings.

Honest safety language

Racerverse explains the interaction surfaces it removes or limits without claiming any online product can eliminate every risk.
